It's more blessed to give than to receive. :)

When we become giving vessels for Jesus
God pours out more blessings on us!

Why do you think the word says
Seek Ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness?
The first part of this scripture is most important!

The last follows those who obey God and live right first.
And all these things shall be added unto you...

We seek God and live in His righteousness.
Not seeking things first...

God wants a relationship with Him.
Then he will add all the things we need.

Many pastors get that scripture turned around.
They want things now but are
not willing to really pray and live right before God.
They get ahead of Him.

We must be obedient to God's Word.
Never taking advantage of God or the Gospel!

Being Loyal and Keeping Priorities Straight

It's one thing to say, and action has to show it and follow through....

What we say for excuses only shows procrastination. Be careful not to do this to your family or spouse!!

Don't take your family for granted or put them off when they need you...

What is procrastination?

procrastination is the avoidance of doing a task which needs to be accomplished. It is the practice of doing more pleasurable things in place of less pleasurable ones, or carrying out less urgent tasks instead of more urgent ones, thus putting off impending tasks to a later time.

If you get in the habit of procrastinating and taking your marriage for granted instead of making them a priority, you can wreck your relationship, a job, or anything you do in your life

Using excuses is a rebellious and disobedient act. We must show loyalty which is righteous!

Let's stay loyal to each other by keeping priorities straight. Stay consistent and true. Ask God to help you and He will.

God never procrastinates, nor ever will with His Children, because His priorities are right to be there for them and to love them.

That is True Loyalty!

May we be like that too!

God bless you,

Ephesians 5:6
Let no one delude and deceive you with empty excuses and groundless arguments [for these sins], for through these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of rebellion and disobedience.

4 Things You Can Do To Make Your Life Happier and Find Solutions For Your Life...

Rev. Cathryn Ndyabagye

1. Your purpose in God is what you love.

Psalm 57:2 says, "I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me."

This is key in understanding God's purpose for your life. God has numbered your days and will fulfill every purpose He has for you. However, our choices and actions also really matter.

2. Correct what you hate.
First repent of your mistakes and find ways to resolve those issues.

1 John 1:9 (KJV)
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

3. Do something to help you heal, when something makes you cry.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

4. Always solve what annoys you.

Instead of getting mad you can find a way to change things so you don't have to feel annoyed. Its mindset and action..

Mark 11:22-25
And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

God will help you clear out all the confusion, worry, and stress.

There is always a way to find a purpose, correct things so you can be happy again, help yourself to heal by helping others, and there are always solutions to every problem.

Put them all into practice and ask God to direct you. Your life will be less stressed, you will see clearly what to do. God will show you. Just ask him.

Follow The Word

Proverbs 7:2 Do what I say, and you will live. Be as careful to follow my teaching as you are to protect your eyes.

The only way we can see clearly in God, is to walk in the spirit.

To know what the word teaches, and live it l.

We must not only hear the word, we have to live it know what we are doing in

God.

Discerning how we are, and making sure we stay in the word. It protects us spiritually, for the word is 'all-powerful'.

The word is your best foundation in life!

Planning carefully

Proverbs 4:26 Plan carefully what you do and whatever you do will turn out right.

Organizing your time wisely in the Lord, in all you do.

Show that you care how to manage your time.

The spirit will lead you in this too.

Things turn out better when you organize your plans that you make.

Doing all as unto the Lord.

Putting priorities first

When Past Affects Your Life

One thing I do, forgetting what is behind and striving towards what is ahead. Philippians 3:13

If you are haunted in your mind by your past, saying, "what could have been", there is no way you can experience the freedom of the Spirit. You have a Spiritual heritage that God gives to you.

Maybe a foolish decision or a misguided action robbed your life of peace and joy.

It was through the atonement of Christ Jesus, that allows you to see a vision of what you can become in the Lord.

The past still burns in your heart with shame, but Jesus took away your past to give you a new future.

When you choose Jesus and ask Him into your life, He erases the past. This way, you don't have to feel guilty or live in shame anymore. You now have a sparkling new future, where you can start anew in God-no longer bothered by negative thoughts of the past, failures, or flaws.

We can't stop Praying to You Father, for Your mighty works of redemption. Through Your mercy, even Your weakest child is redeemed. Amen!

Do you think God is a burden to you?

Rev. Cathryn Ndyabagye

In the Old Testament the people treated God as a burden. They complained, were impatient, and felt God did not hear them.

God got angry when people complained.

God wants us to believe and trust Him. And not doubt.

Speaking life! God gives us so much! How can we dare complain?

God is not a burden and should not be treated like He is. Amen!

God got tired of people treating him like a burden... Let"s look at what the word says...

Jeremiah 23:36

But ‘the burden of the Lord’ you shall mention no more, for the burden is every man's own word, and you pervert the words of the living God, the Lord of hosts, our God.

Let us speak with a thankful heart and put away words that make God look like a burden, for He is not!

Matthew 11:30

For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Matthew 11:28

King James Version

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

No matter what culture, color or land,
God's are One in Him.
He don't care about outter appearance
He looks upon our hearts

God does not see like people do
He looks deeper, and does not forsake you
Man may fail but God won't
His gentle spirit and compassion is there too.

God's love is eternal and everlasting
A connection from God's heart
Into our hearts.
To project from our heart to others

May we allow our light to so shine among men
To spread God's real love with compassion
May we be true and a loving example
So that we can reach those who are so special

We have lots of people out in the world
who are lost and do not know the answer
Let us reach them in God's true love
So they will not be left later

Jesus is coming soon and we need to see this now
It's not about us and trying to meet our own needs here on earth,
It's about Jesus and doing the mission he has assigned for us
To put Jesus first and win souls for God.

Let us all get back to the basics of the Bible
Following it closely and knowing it inside.
Let it shape and mold our lives as we live each day
So when Jesus comes back He will truly say...

Well done, thou good and faithful servant! (Matthew 25:21)

LOVE YOU ALL AND GOD BLESS,
Apostle Cathryn Hughes Feb 19, 2012

before I got married and became Ndyabagye

Never forget two things:
Your angel God gave to be with you for life, and the Holy Spirit...

There are two that help us each day but most do not think about it.

Angels protect you, and minister to you, even warn you, keep accidents from taking place, wrecks that almost happened, called the shadow of death--Near miss. They knudge us and warn us of danger, also the Holy Spirit does when we don't hear or listen to our angel/angels.

As Lot was warned to leave before God was to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah in Gen. 19 chapter,
As the angels take charge of us, as in Psalm 91:11-16 King James Version (KJV)
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

Never forget that your angel and the Holy Spirit are always there to help you.

The Holy Spirit is our comforter and teaches us all things.

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

That's just 2 of the many benefits God gives to us.
I will share more soon!

God bless you,

Rev. Cathryn Ndyabagye

What does the Bible say about confidence?

The Bible says there are some things we should not have confidence in. For example, "Have no confidence in the flesh" (Philippians 3:3). Paul wrote these words to counter the claims of those who thought they were acceptable to God based on their heredity, training, or religious devotion. God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34), and our genealogies don't matter much to Him.

Proverbs 14:16 says that a righteous man departs from evil, but a fool rages in his confidence. In other words, to arrogantly assume that sin has no consequences is a foolish confidence.

If we’re going to be confident in something, Psalm 118:8, 9 tells us what it should be: "It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes." Those who trust in government, finances, other people, or themselves will be disappointed in the end. On the other hand, those who put their confidence in God will never be ashamed (Romans 10:11).

Psalm 16 is an excellent example of a positive confidence in God. David takes no credit for his own goodness (verse 2), nor does he extol his own abilities. Instead, every good thing is ascribed to God (verse 6), and every hope is based on God's character (verse 1). Because God is unchanging, David can confidently rest in hope (verse 9), despite any hardships he faces in life (verse 10).

Our confidence comes from our relationship with Christ. He is our High Priest, and through His intercession, we can “approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need” (Hebrews 4:16). The apostles before the Sanhedrin displayed an assurance that amazed their antagonists: “When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus” (Acts 4:13).

We can follow God in full confidence in His wisdom, power, and plan. As we obey the Lord, we have assurance of our salvation (1 John 2:3). Also, having a good conscience aids our confidence, for we will have nothing to hide. “The righteous are as bold as a lion” (Proverbs 28:1).

Paul gives us something else we can have faith in: "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6). Knowing that God promises to work in the lives of His children, Paul was confident that God would help the Galatians stand fast in the truth (Galatians 5:10).

When we put our trust in God and His revealed Word, our lives take on a new stability, focus, and poise. A biblical self-confidence is really a confidence in God's Word and character. We put no confidence in our flesh, but we have every confidence in the God who made us, called us, saved us and keeps us.

The Power of Our Words

The next time we open our mouth, we need to be aware of the power of our words.

We will speak life or death to ourselves and others

How do we affect others with our mouth?

We can speak life, by talking about God, His promises, encourage, lift up, build up, and love.

Or we can speak death to ourselves and to others with sarcasm, cursing, putting down, embarrassing, negative remarks, and arguing.

The choice is what we choose to say.

Prov. 28:21

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.

How We Think

Proverbs 4:23 Be careful how you think your life is shaped by your thoughts.

Discern our own thinking, to adjust, and live right in our mind.

Many times how we think, is not healthy, or how we assume things to be, is not the way it actually is.

With God, we can discern truth, and we will not have to wonder.

God shows us definitely.

We have to discipline our minds to think good thoughts, and be fair how we think of others.

Always discern everything and then you will know without guessing.

God not only wants us to be positive in our thinking, and ways, and He also wants us to think good about others too.

Often we fail in this. Negative always sticks it's evil head out! Amen

God is our Creator

Some of us think that we are doing God a favor by going to church or reading the Bible. We even think we are doing God a favor by acknowledging him as the Lord of our lives. No, my friends, we are not doing him a favor, WE ARE DOING OURSELVES A FAVOR! God does not need us, we need him! Let us reason together and truly understand this.

God is our Creator!!

He has no need.

The host of heaven (The armies of God) were not made to defend heaven. Heaven does not need defending for it is a perfect place with no evil therein.

The armies of heaven were made to defend believers in God here on earth...

So even the hosts of heaven do not need to defend God. He doesn't need defending.

You don't have to defend the word for God does that and it defends itself! Amen

We do not war against the flesh..

Jesus died so we can live righteously.

We stand up in the devil's face with our armor on and the armies of heaven to defend us and fight against the evil forces which are not seen.

We don't need to defend ourselves against people or make enemies with them. We are not called into the Kingdom of God to defeat people. We are called to love them to Christ and pray for them.
