Waiting on God

Waiting On God
Rev. Cathryn Ndyabagye

A friend of mine, a medical doctor, and I were talking about how important it is to wait on God.

I said to him that I feel many do not want to wait on God.

He stated that many want to take shortcuts.

If you do not wait on God for His lead and guidance, you will keep messing up, not get it right, and expecting others to foot your billl, and you will not be blessed like waiting on God to do it for you. You will never know if you don't wait.

God gave us each a brain, and a way we can work and be self-sufficient. Really trusting God!

When you totally depend on God, I guarantee your life will change. When you go to God alone in prayer and talk to him about your life, what you want to accomplish, then wait, you will see His answers come in ways you never dreamed.

You will never be able to e experience the miracles that will pass you by, if you don't take the time to wait on God.

How can God lead us if we go ahead of Him? How can He show his miracles if we beg from people, instead of work with our hands to be busy while we wait on Him?

I've known God since 1971, and He has never failed me! I never had to beg, and yes, I had to wait many times in my life. Each time I waited, God brought me through in the most fabulous ways. He surprised me tons of times with unexpected blessings--just because I waited on Him.

No, I didn't sit around idle. I kept busy serving God, others and loving people to Christ. I worked too. I didn't say this to boast. For I will not boast in myself. I boast in Jesus Christ my Lord only!

Isaiah 40:31 King James Version (KJV)
31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Do you wait on God?
